Time for ‘answers and actions’ on coronavirus effect on Black community

Commenting on reports today (Tuesday) that publication of a Public Health England review into the impact of the coronavirus on the BAME community has been delayed, UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis said:

“It’s completely unacceptable for this report to be delayed. Coronavirus has a disproportionate impact on Black communities and on Black public service workers.

“It’s time for answers and actions, not more delays. The findings should be published today.”
