UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis has been unanimously re-elected as president of Public Services International (PSI), the global federation of public service trade unions.
PSI represents 20 million working women and men who deliver vital public services in 150 countries. The organisation champions human rights, advocates for social justice and promotes universal access to quality public services.
Mr Prentis has been president since 2010, and will now continue in that role until the next congress in 2022.
PSI’s general secretary Rosa Pavanelli was also re-elected.
